Don't forget the smaller places when you travel north in Australia. Most people seem to know of Cairns and Port Douglas but hit the road further north and cross the Daintree River and you will come to another world. Where the Rainforest meets the sea right at your doorstep. Not too many facilities here but if you are prepared to make the most of what is on offer you can experience something you will not find anywhere else in the world.
