- Do I need to create an account?
-
You must create an account with Worldisround
before you can
create articles.
It is also desirable and sometimes required to create an account before
commenting on articles
so that you can go back and edit or delete your comments later on.
- What do I get with an account?
-
Every registered user has access
to a User Workspace and a homepage. The User Workspace
is where you can write, publish, and edit articles
and review your comments. You do not need an account to view most Worldisround
content. You may or may not need an account to post a comment on an article,
depending on
- How do I log in?
-
When you go to your User Workspace (the Share
section of the site) you may be asked to provide the login and password
that you picked during user registration. If you forget either your login
or your password you can use the
Forgot Your Password
form to change your password via e-mail authentication.
If you enable the Remember Me option
when registering or logging in, your identity will be saved in a browser
cookie so that you will not need to log in again (when using the same browser).
- What personal information do I need to give Worldisround?
-
The primary purpose of accounts are to verify your identity so that you
and only you can access your Workspace, create articles, and edit articles
under your
name. When you register we only ask for information that we need such as
your name (to display alongside articles), a unique login name and a password
for identification, your e-mail address, and your country. You decide whether
other users can see your e-mail address and whether we can send you updates.
See our privacy policy for more
details on what information we collect and what we do with it.
