Each Worldisround travel article has a category which determines where it appears in the Explore the World section. A category is a combination of a location, such as Paris, and an activity, such as Cafés.

When you pick a category for an article, choose the narrowest category that represents your article. An article with a narrow category such as 'Hiking in Yosemite' is easier to find, because it appears when users are browsing Hiking, California, Recreation in California, or if the user narrows all the way down to Hiking in Yosemite. If you select 'North America' as your category, your article will be lost among thousands. If your article is very long or spans several categories you may want to split it into multiple smaller articles so that they are easier to find.
