I travel whenever I get the chance. My miserly annual leave doesn't provide an opportunity for a long trip so I take several shorter trips during the year. Most of my travels have been within the US but I like to travel abroad for two weeks once each year.

I usually travel with very little, taking only carry-on luggage in most cases. My primary method for captuing images is with a compact Canon Sureshot with a 40-115 fixed zoom lens. If I have room I also take my Pentax SLR with a 35-90 lens. I also have an old Fujifilm digital camera that I rarely use. I prefer film and prints but I suspect I'll eventually switch to digital format exclusively.
