As long as I can remember I've loved to travel & learn about new people, places & customs.

I have my 9th grade Geography teacher to thank for really sparking my interest in travel & the world around me. We had 2 great projects that year...1) create a country and 2) our great aunt Gussie passed away & left us $5K with the stipulation all the money be spent on travel ($5K went a long way on travel back in the early 80's).

My first really big domestic trip was from CHS to BOS when I was in 7th grade. Interestingly enough, I ended up living there years later. My first international trip was to Okinawa...I spent the summer between my sophomore and junior years of high school there. After that, I was hooked!

As long as I'm learning new things and seeing new places, I'm a very happy camper. I hope you enjoy my stories and my pictures as much I enjoyed the trips. Happy travels everyone!
