This search box appears on most Worldisround pages. As you can see, it can be used to search for travel articles, personal articles, and authors.
The personal and travel article searches are keyword searches, just like Web search engines (e.g. Google.) You can use AND(+) and OR(-) binary operations to constrain your search, but your best bet to effective searches is to put the phrase you are searching for in quotes.
You can search for a Worldisround author using their exact login name, part of their user name, or their complete e-mail address. You can search using partial logins and names (e.g. "bob" will match the login "bob111" and the name "Bob Smith", among many others.) Our author search feature isn't smart enough to match "Robert" with "Bob" yet, so you may want to try a few variations.
If a user has not published any public articles, they will not be found by author search.
If the user has hidden their e-mail address then searching for their them with their e-mail address will not work.
If the user has disabled their Index your personal pages option, they cannot be found in author search.
